Born in 1972 in Harlem - New York, playing vinyl records since 1990 and being based in San Francisco, CA, Charlotte NC and Vienna, Austria; he's played various events across America, Austria, Bahrain, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK to perform his unique mix of underground electronic music. Some memorable one-off and club nights include: The Drome in London, Flex in Vienna, The Monastery in Normandy, Club Yellow in Tokyo and Cocoon in Frankfurt/Main. He's known throughout the underground of electronic dance music for fusing deep soulful techno with a variety of tastefully selected electronic rhythms.... He currently records under the moniker ALTROY and has recorded the 'Complex Impedance' 12" for Orlando Voorn's Nightvision Records (which also features his Remix of Microthol's 'Heliopolis'), a remix for Shawn Rudiman's 'Sashimi hi' on the 'Vintage Synth Technique' 12" on Minimalsoul Recordings, and more releases to follow this season. Minimalsoul Recordings is his record label that releases a variety of soulful, modern and abstract music.
