A valuable part of New York s return to the forefront of electronic dominance can be best identified as veteran DJ and long-standing member of the underground, Reade Truth. After relocating across the ocean to Vienna for a few years, Reade has returned to his hometown and has made quite an impact via some amazing recent productions and several blistering hot DJ sets. Known for seamless, irresistible mixes in the house and techno genres, the Truth has been rocking the decks since 1990 and as a producer he has made his mark on many EPs for cutting edge labels like Direct Drive, Strictly Rhythm, Sonic Groove, Instinct, Pomelo, Planet E Communications, The Wurst Music Co., and of course his own imprints: Path Records and White Label. His deep dance floor visions have consistently provided an important source of edgy electronics always delivered with an inimitable style all his own.
