Egyptian Lover started out in the early Eighties as the DJ for Uncle Jam s Army. They organised parties in the LA-area for 10.000 people.Artists involved were, amongst others, the then still unknown Run DMC, Whodini or Ice T. He quickly the number one DJ on the west coast, due to his impressive mixing skills, which can be heard in every Egyptian Lover live show. His first record 'Egypt, Egypt' turned the Egyptian Lover into an international recording star and opened the way for a whole bunch of producers inspired by the booming bass, sexy lyrics and dark melodies of the Egypt style.
